Circles of Awakening
Conversations on Women & Power
...reclaiming our place to stand...

A series of six facilitated conversations on the topics covered in the Women and Power audio series created by Louise LeBrun

This program is an invitation to awaken to our potential for self-expression, creativity and personal power, and is based on the belief that women are strong, competent, creative, courageous and powerful, that we are full practitioners at life!

Each week we gather together and discuss our thoughts and experiences around these topics. These facilitated conversations are framed in the WEL-Systems® perspective, a way of considering the world that invites and allows for rapid, profound and generative change. Sessions include presentation and discussion of the WEL-Systems approach and models as they apply to the discussion topics.

This approach will challenge your thinking, about yourself and about the way you interact with others; about who you believe yourself to be and about who you can become; about your notions of power and how you express and experience personal power; about personal expression, creativity, success, relationship, leadership and your place in your world.

  • Speaking Up and Speaking Out!
challenges the way we think—about ourself and about how we interact with others; about those times that we choose to speak up, or to silence ourself once more; and about our notions of power and how we express and experience our personal power.

  • Magical, Mystical Money!
explores money and our relationship to it—not the debit and credit of money, but the beliefs values and attitudes that either create it or don't. What is money? How come some have it and others don't? What does money represent to you?

  • White Knights and Reluctant Heroes
explores our relationships with men, who are they in our lives—or who do we allow them to be? How is it that men have become the enemy? What can we do differently?

  • To Be Or Not To Be... My Mother!
explores our relationship with Mom, one of the most powerful, profound and permanent relationships we have. Our first living example of who, how and why to be. How much of me is Mom? How much of Mom am I willing to let go of?

  • Emotions: Messengers From Inner Space
small words like anger, fear, joy, guilt...with such powerful implications! What are emotions? Where do they come from? How do they serve us—and how do they trip us up? And how do we decode the messages?

  • The Cost of Collusion
collusion is defined as acting together secretly; conniving; to play or to deceive together, as in a game. We have been colluding for generations in ways that have led to our own and each others powerlessness in the living of our lives. How will we change our conversations with other women?

These rich and powerful conversations offer an opportunity to open our minds and our thoughts to consider the depth of our own potential, to consider who we might become as a creative and powerful force in our own lives and in the lives of others.

Prior to each session you will listen to the audio CD of the week's topic so that you come to the conversation with your own thoughts, challenges and experiences of the topic.
